Attention Deficit Disorder and Ritalin!2018-07-19T17:22:44+00:00
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD – ADHD) is a plague on our society these days. It’s not that this disease suddenly appeared out of nowhere, it’s just that our children’s nutrition these days is pathetic. This problem presents itself as, among other things, ADD. The following material is worth considering. The latest statistics tell us that there are MORE kids on Ritalin for the high than who are being “treated” for ADD.Ritalin is one of the most damaging, addictive psychotropic drugs on the planet. It is classed in the second-highest category of addictive and controlled substances by the U.S. and other federal governments. Ritalin is in the amphetamine family, and its most major complication is suicide. This information is published in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) –the “bible” of psychiatric “diagnosis” and “treatment”. Ritalin is a chemical lobotomy — its only purpose is to dull one’s awareness so that one “behaves”.

There is no such “disease” as Attention Deficit Disorder – ADD, or Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder – ADHD, or any of those similar entities. These are just symptoms of nutritional imbalance, misbehavior, or lack of effective study skills. Every 6-year old child exhibits one or more symptoms of so-called ADD, and could be “diagnosed” as such.

The symptoms of ADD are generally cleared up with intense nutritional supplementation. In fact, health professionals have been experiencing excellent results using the following regimen of Whole Food Natural Supplements and other Products!

  • Antioxidants – 1 capsule per 10 lbs. of body weight for 1 week; then 1/2 dose for one month, 1/2 morning & 1/2 night.
  • Whole Food Powder – 2 servings per day at mid-morning & mid-afternoon. *
  • Enzymes – 2 capsules before each meal.
  • Protein and bulk Nutrients – 1 tablespoon in each serving of Definition.

A little schooling on how to study, and a little training in social behavior, and a child is as good as new. The first alternative to drugging your children is simply not to. It is a convenient way out for teachers and parents who don’t or won’t take the time to devote to proper education and training of their children. Sorry, no personal offense to anyone, that’s just the way it is.

The Center for Family Life, Inc. (310-596-2499) has a CT approved tape targeted to Attention Deficit Disorder called “How to Get Your Child and Teen to Pay Attention in School and Behave at Home”. They can be ordered from Video Plus at 800-388-3884.

The most important thing to consider here is that your child NEEDS good nutrition or they will suffer more problems than ADD. Health is tied directly to their daily nutrition. Anything can and does go wrong when nutrition is ignored or downplayed. We encourage you to address this problem in SOME way that will target the problem.
